I didn't want to say anything because I am horrible, horrible I tell you, at sticking with things! Even when I'm scared "straight"! Last Friday I went to the Dr. because my stomach has been KILLING me for the past 3-4 months. After some painful pushing on my tummy, the lovely acid taste..blech! The Doctor wanted me to have an upper g.i. and a gall bladder scan to see what all was up.
I am not a huge fan of anything type of procedure that makes me ingest stuff. Add to it that I was going to pumped full of morphine. Morphine is not my friend...so I decided to do something radical!
I canceled my appointment and went gluten free and dairy free. Saturday, I began eating things, one at a time, to see what hurt. Fruits and vegetables were okay. I tried yogurt and my stomach was burning 3 bites in, so dairy went out the window. With all of this, I'm asking my readers for some help! I have survived on spinach salads with bacon, onions, mushrooms and it is delicious BUT...I know I'll get bored pretty quick! I also eat eggs...again, I need variety!
